Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) technology is the server-side component architecture for Java / J2EE.  In this class students will learn how to develop several types of EJB’s including session beans, entity beans, and message-driven beans. 
This course is taught using the EJB 3.0 framework.

This class is designed for developers who wish to build on their experience with Java and JSP to build rich interfaces using JavaServer Faces (JSF).  This course teaches the fundamentals of using the JSF framework to create views, add UI components, and validate user input. Students will learn to write “backing-beans” and will also learn about JSF’s Expression Language (EL), how to write action handlers, how to handle navigation, internationalization, and more!

912 | Fundamentals of Jakarta Struts

This class is designed for developers who wish to build on their experience with Java and JSP to build sophisticated applications and rich interfaces using Jakarta Struts.   The class teaches students to build on the JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Libraries (JSTL) along with the Struts HTML tags for forms to build rich interfaces with validation and internationalization built right in.

982 | J2EE Patterns and Design Patterns

This course explores Object-Oriented Design Principles and Design Patterns.   Students will learn about fundamental object-oriented design concepts and design principles that are essential for successful development of robust J2EE applications.   

983 | Working with Spring and Hibernate

The Spring Framework is an open source Java / J2EE application framework.   In this course, Java developers will learn how to work with Spring and Hibernate to build high-performance applications while reducing development/maintenance time.
