5 days, 8:30am-4:30pm
Price: $2,995**
Global Knowledge: Partner Course **WestLake Vouchers/Passes not applicable
In this 5-day Authorized Cisco course, implement campus networks using multilayer switching technologies over high speed Ethernet. This course addresses the integration of routing and switching technologies to create an efficient campus network. Design, build, and configure a reliable campus network so that if any physical link, switch or router fails an end user won't know, while maintaining the performance to meet today's demanding application requirements, such as voice and video. Learn to design physical redundancy into your network and the necessary Layer 2 and 3 protocols to guarantee constant access to the campus network.
Technologies such as Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree (802.1W), Multiple Spanning Tree (802.1S), Uplinkfast and Backbonefast will be covered in detail to determine how to optimize a network's convergence times in the event a physical path fails. Also learn how to get more bandwidth between network devices by configuring etherchannel. Learn the advantages and how to configure and troubleshoot HSRP, convergence of voice, video and data in a real-time environment, IP Multicast, and QoS.
This course is offered in all 3 delivery methods and has Cisco Live e-Labs available. Follow the links to the right to explore the different options based on your learning style, timeframe, location and budget.
This class is part of the exclusive, Global Knowledge Course+ program.
