Building on topics from WestLake's Advanced ColdFusion course, WestLake's ColdFusion 8 with XML and Web Services course explores the tools that enable developers to write ColdFusion applications that retrieve data from other Web servers. Using COM objects to create Word or Excel files, for example, or pulling data from remote servers. You'll also learn how to use the latest XML technologies to exchange data and run programs across the Internet.
