This two-day instructor-led Captivate training course will teach you the skills to rapidly create powerful and engaging simulations, scenario-based training, and robust quizzes without the need for programming knowledge or multimedia skills.   Learn how to use Captivate to capture screen shots on the computer and turn them into lessons (movies). Then learn how to add images, captions, rollovers, clickable areas, typing areas, sound effects and more.

By the end of the class students will be able to:

  • Capture and record screen activity and effortlessly synchronize audio and video.
  • Develop and deploy engaging computer simulations and skill assessments.
  • Develop soft-skills training with complex branching scenarios.
  • Design engaging, interactive Adobe Flash® and multimedia presentation.
  • Create and deploy interactive tutorials and randomized quizzes with randomized answers.
  • Create informal learning content such as podcasts and screencasts.
  • Easily capture and communicate knowledge visually and effectively.

For this course you will need Adobe Flash Player 7 or later, a microphone to record audio, speakers and a sound card.   These will be provided if you take the course at a WestLake training center.

Anyone who wishes to create software demonstrations and interactive simulation projects using Adobe Captivate 3.0.
