This class is delivered via a 3 hour Virtual Classroom preparatory session, followed by 4.5 classroom days. The preparatory session is held three weeks prior to the start of the class on a Friday morning. Example: for a class that starts Monday the 24th, the preparatory session is on Friday the 7th. During the preparatory session, students will be given an overview of the steps they must take to prepare for the class and the exam.
This intensive, interactive course prepares the participant for the Project Management Institutes (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification exam. Participants will review potential exam material, take practice tests, complete exercises and reviews, and be given reference cards. This course can also be used as a project management refresher course.
WestLake guarantees that you will pass the exam or we will refund your WestLake course fee. PMI states that an exam candidate can take the exam up to three times one year after their acceptance letter is received. If they do not pass after three attempts, they must wait a year and then start the application process over again. WestLake will help ensure this does not happen to you. If you take this WestLake prep class and then take the exam within one month of the class end date and do not pass the exam, WestLake will give you a free retake of the class. If you take the exam again within one month and do not pass, WestLake will arrange for a private discussion with an instructor as well as another free retake. If you do not pass the third time, your course fee will be refunded.
