We are seeking a trainer and courseware writer to develop and deliver training for end-users of a proprietary application for a client in the Dulles / Herndon area.
Exceptional candidates will have the following skills and experience :
- Technical training /courseware development experience.
- Experience developing training materials (workbooks, quizzes, tests, presentations).
- Excellent people and presentation skills.
- Superior communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and sensitivity to client culture and feedback.
- Must be team-oriented, possess excellent organizational and written skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, writing, editing, updating and producing training courseware
- Teaching hands-on Instructor-led and virtual classroom courses. Classes focus on end-user training of proprietary systems,
- Providing ongoing support to the client’s learning initiatives
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of courseware development or technical writing
- Experience delivering training to end-users of technical business applications
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn unfamiliar technologies
- Superior writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing curriculums, training materials
- Excellent communication, customer relations and organization skills
- Comfortable working with Web-based applications
- Experience working in a training room environment,
- Working knowledge of Word, Framemaker, Excel and PowerPoint
- College degree is required.
- Selected candidate will undergo an extensive Background Check.
