We are seeking a trainer and courseware writer to develop and deliver  training for end-users of a proprietary application for a client in the Dulles / Herndon area.

Exceptional candidates will have the following skills and experience :

  • Technical training /courseware development experience.
  • Experience developing training materials (workbooks, quizzes, tests, presentations).
  • Excellent people and presentation skills.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and sensitivity to client culture and feedback.
  • Must be team-oriented, possess excellent organizational and written skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, writing, editing, updating and producing training courseware
  • Teaching hands-on Instructor-led and virtual classroom courses. Classes focus on end-user training of proprietary systems,
  • Providing ongoing support to the client’s learning initiatives

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of  courseware development or technical writing
  • Experience delivering training to end-users of technical business applications
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn unfamiliar technologies
  • Superior writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing curriculums, training materials
  • Excellent communication, customer relations and organization skills
  • Comfortable working with Web-based applications
  • Experience working in a training room environment,
  • Working knowledge of Word, Framemaker, Excel and PowerPoint
  • College degree is required.
