Jill McKay, Vice President, Business Development
Jill McKay joined WestLake in January 2005 as Senior Director of Sales. She brings to WestLake 20 years' experience selling IT solutions and services to corporations, non-profits and government agencies. Jill moved to the USA from her native England and began her IT career selling managed electronic mail services to the worldwide global climate change community in 1984 - at a time when most people did not have a fax machine let alone a computer and a modem. Since then, she has never looked back, always sharing her passion for the transforming power of technology to improve people's work lives.
Inspired by the impact that well-designed employee intranets can have on people's ability to perform their work, Jill spent several years working for an outsourced Human Resources company using technology to efficiently manage the transactional side of employment as well as to deliver services, training and support.
Jill's role at WestLake is to provide leadership and support to the Sales team. She attributes her success in Sales to living by the Golden Rule. She has a MA in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
